Wheel-thrown illustrated plate which belongs to a series of four stoneware plates with gold lustre (limited edition of two). Thrown by my pottery teacher Mr Pampos and hand-drawn by myself. This is the last remaining design from the series.
For some unknown reason creatively uneducated individuals are often compelled to critique my work and offer absurd suggestions such as switching from making pots to fridge magnets. Their comments suddenly resurface in my mind unexpectedly so I have decided to dedicate these plates to the common dilettante.
