Having A Body Is Scary
A one-off stoneware piece about the unpleasant realities of having a body.
Our skin and inner mechanisms are soft and prone to various types of spoilage. I am afraid of the countless possible elements that might contribute to my physical demise.
Will it be an attack by nearly-invisible bacteria, a betrayal by my own body's defences in the form of an autoimmune decease, a violent organ-damaging accident, the terrifying weapon of a madman, or simply old age?
